September Chapter Meeting: Beltway Update

The September chapter meeting will be held on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 6:00 pm  at Pal's Cabin in West Orange, NJ. The Executive Meeting is scheduled for 6:00 pm followed by Dinner at 6:30. The guest speaker is John Russell, Director of Government Relations for the ASA, who will give a "Beltway Update of Regulatory Trends Affecting the Valuation Profession."

Mr. Russell earned his JD degree at Syracuse University, and was most recently a lobbyist for NATOA (National Association of Telecommunication Officers and Advisors). As Director of Government Relations for ASA, he works on legislative initiatives beneficial to ASA, and is staff liaison to ASA-PAC.  He also coordinates with ASA’s Governmental Relations Committee, and keeps members informed of legislative and regulatory issues.
