February Meeting: Auctions and Appraisals

The February Chapter Meeting will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 6:00 pm at Maggiano’s, 70 Riverside Square Mall, Hackensack, NJ 07601 (Phone: 201-221-2040) [Map]. The Executive Meeting is scheduled for 6:00 pm followed by Dinner at 7:00. The guest speaker is Mitchell Caspert, Esq., a principal of Caspert Auctioneers & Appraisers in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. Mr. Caspert will discuss “Overcoming Your Seller's Bloated Expectations.”

Mitchell Caspert, who took his B.S. at Syracuse University and his J.D. at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. enjoyed a 20-year career supervising the administration of attorneys and legal professionals at two prominent New York City law firms. After 9/11. he returned to the family business, while maintaining his interest in the law and technology.

Mr. Caspert has lectured attorneys about technology, and has moderated Ask A Lawyer, a weekly metro area television program. A popular speaker at financial seminars, trade groups and professional associations, he is an expert on the auction & appraisal business.

The program qualifies for two hours of ASA Continuing Education Credit. Dinner is $30 per person for members when paid in advance by PayPal or check; $35 for guests and for members paying at the door.
