May Meeting: Aircraft Evaluation

The May chapter meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at Pal's Cabin in West Orange, NJ. The Board Meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.  Dinner is at 6:30 p.m. The guest speaker is Rebecca Posoli-Cilli, Vice-President of Avjet Corporation and a Chapter 73 Candidate, who will talk about Aircraft Valuation. Dinner is $30. The program qualifies for one hour of ASA Continuing Education Credit. Rebecca Posoli-Cilli graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a degree in Business Administration. After heading the Research Department of another large aircraft brokerage, she joined Avjet as Vice President of Sales & Acquisitions in 1997. An expert on used aircraft, she has prepared appraisals for many Fortune 500 companies, including Citibank, GECC, KPMG, Credit Suisse, JPMorganChase, Gulfstream Aerospace, and Bombardier Aerospace. Ms. Posoli-Cilli's talk will cover aviation valuations from budget Desktop Appraisals to Technical Inspection Appraisals costing $50k, including a discussion of inspection status, engine time, lightning damage, ownership history, and aircraft interiors, the latter illustrated with photos.
