October Meeting: Legal Issues Affecting Appraisers II

The October chapter meeting will be held on Monday, October 22, 2007 at Pal's Cabin in West Orange, NJ. The Board Meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. followed by Networking at 6:30, and Dinner at 7:00. The guest speaker will be Jennifer Lazor, Esq. of Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland & Perretti LLP, an expert on equitable distribution and the divorce process.

Jennifer Lazor is an associate in Riker Danzig's Family Law Group, and is a qualified family law mediator who also sits as an early settlement panelist in Morris and Essex Counties. A graduate of Lafayette College and Rutgers Law, Ms. Lazor is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) and the Morris County Bar Association. Ms. Lazor has participated in Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) seminars on domestic violence and divorce proceedings, and is the co-author of seven articles, including "A Statutory and Regulatory Guide to Litigating Custody and Parenting Time Disputes", published by the ICLE and in the New Jersey Family Lawyer, a NJSBA publication.

The program qualifies for one hour of ASA Continuing Education Credit.
